I just had the privilege of being interviewed by Kitty Lindsay for her awesome podcast, Feminist Crush. You can listen to it here: http://feministcrush.libsyn.com/podcast

A couple of early snapshots of the beginning of my experimental VR project:

Very excited to be showing the Manifesto drawings in early March at Ochi Projects in Los Angeles. More info to come.. Manifesto No. 42, 12″ x 9″, graphite on paper, 2016

Moskowitz Bayse gallery has assembled works from 50+ artists in this super cool holiday shop online — with a portion of sales benefitting Carla (http://contemporaryartreview.la). I have a dozen new collages (explosions) available, made of wood veneer, graphite, acrylic and paper. A fantastic source if your holiday shopping includes original art! 🙂 https://www.moskowitzbayse-shop.com/drawings-paintings-1?category=Nancy%20Baker%20Cahill https://www.instagram.com/p/BNkXcwqBHta/?taken-by=nancybakercahill A […]

The Surds series continues to evolve into 3 dimensional space. In the pieces below, each 15″ x 15″ x 3″, the lucite posts extrude from the drawing in lengths between 1/4″ and 1″. Very excited about this new direction, which will eventually include light (and ultimately video).

A few installation shots courtesy of artist and curator Erika Lizeé:

I will be showing this small experimental Surd, along with more new work at my upcoming solo exhibition, “Interruptions,” at Moorpark College Art Gallery! Details about the show (gallery hours, lecture, etc.) below:

I’m so grateful to Peripheral Vision Arts for granting me a publication fellowship and to writer Gracie Linden for writing this extraordinary, thoughtful essay on my work: http://www.peripheralvisionarts.org/journal/cahill-linden

From October 14th – November 15th I will be exhibiting selected works from 2016 at Moorpark College Art Gallery. Special thanks to artist Erika Lizée for curating my work into the program this fall!

Just opened on Sept 17: this vertical installation of Manifesto Drawings at Chimento Contemporary in Los Angeles. If you’re in LA, come and check them out!
